leave alone? (would probably still do new knobs and fix the top)
or paint...
i'm not a huge fan of red in general, but it looks better than i thought.
i was having a hard time getting the right yellow in photoshop, but i was trying to go for a more mustard yellow. we already have some darker yellow accents with fabric, so that would work with what we already have going on.
orange was also difficult, but per your suggestions, burnt orange?
bright green...
i have my favorites, but i'm curious to know what you all think.

or a nice medium gray.

I like the Gray! Looks nice with your fab chairs.
um...all of the above! Seriously, you can't go wrong.
My personal faves:
1. red
2. yellow
3. what about a teal/robin egg blue?
black? You'd lose a lot of the architectural details but I do love a nice black buffet!
red base, black top?
Ok I'll stop now.... :)
hello there,
i've been reading your blog for awhile now and i've never commented (sorry!) but i think it's past time i said hello -- so, Hi! I really like what you've done with your place. we used to live in st. louis by the northwest corner of forest park, but we just moved back east so it's nice to check your blog and see some snippets of st. louis from time to time :)
i like the red, green, and blue looks of your buffet. i think the burnt orange and yellow are interesting ideas but it was hard to tell from the photoshop!
:) nancy
I love the red. But you could probably guess that one. Hello, red couch.
The navy looks really nice with the grey chairs, as does the grey. As far as multiple rooms/uses with one paint option ... grey is a really solid pick. But, I can also argue that red can be neutral ...
I'd like it in deep mustard, like Grey Poupon Country style mustard. I love mustard yellow though. Black would also be very nice and was also my original thought but mustard yellow might really "pop" and be much more interesting.
Oh, and I also love RED. (I've got some red in nearly every room in our house.)
I like the green the best, followed up by the gray. The orange looks too much like your floors I think.
Leave the wood or paint it black.
I'd normally agree with Priscilla but the grey looks nice with the chairs--and let's face it, its all about the Eames.
