blanket

i realized i never posted the finished photos of the blanket that i was working on. i wasn't sure what i was going to do with it, but once i had it complete i realized that it kind of needed to live in the guest room.

Oh I REALLY really like that!!! Love the colors, the squares, how they're all different sizes. The pattern is pretty modern but the texture & the fact that they're granny squares keep it more traditional. Nicely done!!

this blanket was actually very easy to make - it's called the "babette blanket" and i bought the pattern online. the most difficult part was learning to read the pattern :-)

allison - the color is rainstorm by sherwin williams. i had it color matched at lowes. there are some more pictures here: http://five2eight.blogspot.com/2009/04/room-for-our-guests.html
